Web Design & Development

Austin, Texas

When you make a mistake and all the best movie lines become your friend.

So, I just finished a website that took me 5 days to build. It looked incredible.

I went over every tiny detail, saved and then opened the design in Mobile. Because the Mobile dashboard for Wix is seperate from Desktop. It's one of the glitchy things I dislike about Wix.

Wix.Com's mobile design AI is not smart at all. It will copy everything you create on desktop and attempt to set it up the way it thinks it's suppose to look.

HAHA! The AI is always wrong.

Instead it looks kinda like a preschool toybox with everything just thrown in there. And every time I move something on the desktop design, it becomes jumbled up in mobile. Despite that, Wix is still hands down the best hosting for clients who are not technically skilled and want to update their own sites. Pricey but the best.

Anyway... I adjusted, tweaked, moved, resized, fixed, repaired and *SAVE!* Oh but wait!

That one little box is a teeny smidge too close for my personal taste. I moved it. Okay. *Save!*

Darn it. The box looked better where it was before. *Undo*

Except Wix doesn't undo that one tiny movement. It wiped everything I just did for the past hour.

NOOOOOOO!! What did you do Wix!!

*clicks frantically* redo!

But alas. It's all gone.

Back to the drawing board for the mobile design. *Sigh*

It's okay. I like redoing things. It builds character.

I've been programming, designing, writing and publishing professionally online since 1995. I've worn many hats throughout my life, but the common core of my career has always been media. Besides the portfolio you see on TNW Creations, my internet presence has been substantial for over 2 decades. In 1995, while still in college, I founded TNW Creations and became part of the grassroots development for teaching the Lakhota language online. By 2004, my bilingual work was listed on many sites, including National Geographic , Encarta and Touchstone Pictures Hidalgo. When I'm not designing, developing and writing, you'll find me managing MagicStoryLand.Com, creating kid-friendly game & video content, posting salty articles about cyber threats, leading Girl Scouts, moderating UnifyLife.Org and enjoying my  community, church & family.
