When you create a website on Wix, you are assigned a generic, demo name, "Mysite."
If you aren't aware of it, you'll finish building your site, hit publish and voila! Your site now has the generic, auto-assigned name that obviously tells Google and your visitors nothing about your website.
Sometimes the easiest and FASTEST way to change your website from the generic demo name, "Mysite" on Wix is to rename your site. Here are the 5 simple steps!
1. Go to your site's dashboard.
2. Click Site Actions.
3. Click Rename Site.
4. Enter the new name.
5. Click Rename.
